As a learning community, we are committed to ensuring that our students have the very best educational opportunities to achieve personal success. We aim for all our students to be ‘FIRST learners’ by the end of Year 8, so they are well equipped for high school and beyond.

FIRST is a part of everyday life at our school and is also celebrated at special occasions and assemblies. When students display high levels of our FIRST values they are rewarded with a very special FIRST certificate at one of our assemblies, which is also communicated to parents via our newsletters. At the end of their time at Northcote Intermediate School, students proudly display FIRST qualities.
